Moon Phase

Amidst the echoes of a fallen society,
this magazine stands at the boundary between what was,
what might have been and what could be.

Support HOUDINI Magazine – Real Culture, Real People

Let me keep it real with you. HOUDINI Magazine isn’t some corporate-run platform trying to sell you the same old stale, pre-packaged culture. We’re about giving real, working-class people a voice—raw, unfiltered, and from the ground up. I’m not a “journalist,” I’m a cultural curator, an artist, and a worker just like you. I’m a regular person working call center jobs, tech support, hustling to build something that matters. This platform exists because we need a say in culture. Not the billionaires with their Instagram ads, but people like us. The working class. The ones who make this world turn.

And we’re open about where we stand. We’re not hiding the fact that we come from an anarchist-communist background. We believe in community, power to the people—not corporations. If that rubs you the wrong way, maybe this isn’t the space for you. But if it speaks to you, keep reading.

So why do we need you?
Simple: I can’t do this alone. This whole platform is powered by people like you. Your support is what keeps this thing going, what keeps us building a space where real culture can thrive. Your dollar isn’t just money—it’s you backing the mission, backing the movement.

Ways you can help:

Patreon:

Buck Club ($1/month): You got a dollar? Cool. This is about stretching that dollar and keeping everything running. Every single buck counts, and you’re helping to keep the platform alive.

Seven Club ($7/month): Want to do a little more? This helps us do bigger things, and you get more access to what we’re building.

Super Saiyan Sponsor ($20/month): Ready to show up big? This is the tier. You’ll get exclusive content and a thank-you on the site (if you’re down for it). This helps keep the whole thing running, and I’ll make sure you know how much it means.

Cash App:

Not into the monthly thing? No worries. Hit us with a one-time tip or donation through Cash App. Quick, easy, and every little bit counts.

What’s the big goal?
The big goal right now? To build HOUDINI Radio. We’re not here to just create content. We’re here to create a space where artists can be heard, and not have to grind out content for the algorithm. If you’re an artist, send us your track. We’ll give it air time. We’re building a real underground platform where music can thrive outside the corporate control. No more Sinclair Media and their right-wing talk shows or 45-year-old classic rock singles on repeat. This is about giving power back to the people who actually make culture.

Artists can’t work for exposure. I know it, you know it, and if we’re going to build this thing for real, we need to make sure the people who make the art get paid, too.

Where your money goes:
Every bit of support goes directly into keeping the platform alive. My goal is to get to a point where, with just $1200 a month in revenue, I can pay rent and cover basic expenses. Everything after that? I want to spread it around to the culture. If someone drops a new single, we’ll give it air time. Got a new EP? Send it in. I’ll play it, and we’ll let the audience vote on if it stays in rotation. This is a real independent platform where you get to be part of the process. I want to help make sure artists get the recognition and the pay they deserve.

We’re not a corporation.
We’re not about selling out to brands or pretending to be something we’re not. We’re here for the community. We’re not here to chase clicks. We’re here to make something that’s for us, not for some corporate machine. This is for the people who are making the world move—not for the ones making the most Instagram ads. It’s about building a space where culture isn’t decided by who can buy the most likes, but by the people who live it.

Join us.
If you fuck with what we’re doing, show some love. Whether it’s a dollar or twenty, it all helps. We’re not in this for the money—we’re in it to build something real, something that’ll last. Together, we can create a space where we all eat, and where culture is built by the people who actually make it.
